Science Resources for Schools

in collaboration with SSERC

678SRFS.jpg

Edina is proud to support those schools in Scotland who are participating in SSERC's three-year Inspiring a Sustainable Approach to STEM (ISAS) Programme. Each STEM Associate school partaking in the 2024/25 school year programme is entitled to two separate £450 STEM equipment grants, following the STEM Associate’s attendance at SSERC’s experiential professional learning activities. This funding will support the implementation of the knowledge gained through training and ensure that schools have the necessary equipment to deliver high-quality STEM education.

Please download the grant form below.

All we ask in return is that, once you have purchased the equipment and put it to use in the classroom, you submit a short report to let us know the impact the scheme has had on primary science education in your school.

Reporting

Schools are asked to provide a short report about their funded activities/items.

Please let us know if you would be willing to share information about your project with other schools. Photographs are particularly welcomed. Please state clearly if permission is given to the Edina Trust to use them on its website, Twitter, and/or in its newsletters. (Where permission is expressly given photographs will be used for no more than six years after which time they will be deleted.)
