Sonia Morgan has been the Chair of Trustees since the Trust’s inception in 2002; she fulfilled the role of Trust Secretary until July 2020. Sonia holds a PhD in Genetics from the University of Edinburgh. Her previous career spanned working for the Scottish Office in Edinburgh, the Open University in Milton Keynes, and as a Director of a company specialising in genetics-based medicine.
