Learning through Landscapes
Learning through Landscapes is a UK charity which provides information about developing and using the school grounds as an educational resource. A Learning through Landscapes subscription provides members with a regular mailing and online access to a library of resources and discounts on training, conferences and publications to help schools and early years enhance and make the most of outdoor space for play and learning.
Grounds for Learning
Grounds for Learning is the Scottish equivalent of Learning through Landscapes, offering the same membership deals.
A Primary Upd8 subscription provides a topical science based PowerPoint presentation once a fortnight throughout the school year, delivering science lessons, and using relevant topics in the media. Topical events and the curriculum are bridged to enable teachers to deliver content with maximum engagement.
Techniquest is the UK's longest established science centre situated in Cardiff Bay. It is a registered educational charity supported by the Welsh Government to aid the school programmes it offers. Techniquest provides a range of services to schools and teachers to accompany classroom teaching such as exhibits and science shows. A school subscription to Techniquest will provide unlimited visits to the centre for an entire year at one single cost.
