Jennie worked 7 years as a Primary School teacher and a science subject leader. In this time, she led her school through the PSQM cycle twice, achieving PSQM Outreach. In her role, she also ran her local Ogden Trust partnership. Jennie has a specialism in Primary Science and EYFS, holding leadership roles in the past and completing a masters in physics pedagogy.
In 2022, Jennie began completing consultancy work with SEERIH at The University of Manchester as a Primary Science Teacher Champion. From here, she started working for SEERIH full-time in September 2023 as Specialist Officer for Projects, focused on delivering science projects and training to schools in Greater Manchester.
Jennie is passionate about science for all, ensuring every child can access, progress and achieve in science.
