Earth Science Lessons
This resource includes internet links, PowerPoint presentations, easy practical demonstrations and classroom activities. It is split into different sections which include Planet Earth (rock types), Dynamic Earth ( erosion and weathering), Violent Earth (volcanoes, earthquakes etc) and Future Earth (renewables).

Solar Power

What's in soil?
The Natural History Museum shares an activity exploring your local soils. This is a practical activity to help your class get up close and see what they can find inside different soils, using samples from your own area.
Top Turf
This activity from York University will have pupils working scientifically to examine healthy plant growth. Explore the effects of light, temperature, water, and air, as well as learning about how to perform a fair test, observe and measure.
Explorify
Explorify have a huge range of activities with instructions for teachers. Their website even has a page dedicated to helping you confidently teach forces and how to tackle common misconceptions.

Off the shelf resources for running extra-curricular clubs for children, with Children's University accreditation available. PSTT has a number of ready-to-go club packs that will have pupils engaged in practical investigations.
