Carol has become well recognised through her support of children and teachers in schools all over Glasgow for the past twenty years, and believes very strongly that every child should have access to the full curriculum. Her final specialism was teaching English as an Additional Language in primary schools.

Before moving into education Carol was an experienced proof-reader, and worked for a medical publisher in London for many years.

She is very keen to encourage every Glasgow primary school to access their Edina Trust funding, to help with the teaching and learning of hands on science in the classroom.
