Thinktank is an award-winning science museum with over 200 science and technology hands-on displays, plus a digital Planetarium and outdoor Science Garden. They offer a variety of sessions for groups from Early Years to Key Stage 4. There are three different types of sessions available: Science Shows, Planetarium Shows and Workshops.

The Farm on Wheels

The Farm on Wheels can bring a trailer of friendly animals to your school / nursery, for a hands-on experience with animals, chosen from: sheep, goats, calf, donkey, chickens, ducks, turkey, quail, rabbits, guinea pigs and a pet rat.  As well as the exciting opportunity to stroke / groom / hold / feed / walk the animals, information is given about the animals related to the topic or curriculum area each class is covering; with common requests being animal families, growth, reproduction, adaptation and selective breeding.

Medical Mavericks

Medical Mavericks' offer workshops aimed at students aged 7-13 to encourage informed decisions about careers and lifestyle choices. They take medical and sports science equipment into schools to give students hands on experience with and information behind what it's used for by scientists and medical professionals on a daily basis. The workshops are diverse and aim to provide something for everyone.
