Debbie is an experienced Leader of Science with over thirty five years’ experience in Primary Education. She led her latest school through PSQM in 2012, and again in 2015, when they achieved the Gold Award on each occasion. Additionally she led them through an Ofsted Subject Specific Survey inspection in Science which was deemed to be outstanding in all categories! In 2012, she was awarded a Primary Science Teacher Award by the Primary Science Teaching Trust and became a PSTT Fellow. Since retiring from full-time teaching in 2015, she has worked as an Area Mentor in the Midlands for the PSTT supporting Fellows and delivering CPD to teachers at local Conferences and in schools. Debbie continues to have a passion for investigative science and loves how it stimulates children’s curiosity!
