Royal Botanical Gardens, Edinburgh

Conservation of threatened species and habitats. A number of programmes for schools can be included in your visit, such as: cycle of life, bone detectives, endangered animals and rainforest explorers.


The Ecology Centre, Kinghorn

The Ecology Centre offer half or whole day sessions covering a foundation of understanding about the environment. Sessions are designed to be active, interactive, experiential and a journey of discovery. Topics covered include: Minibeasts, Energy, Living Things, and Litter and Pollution.

Wildside Nature

Wildside Nature offer workshops and projects to all stages of learners, designed to bring real life science and nature experiences into and out of the classroom. Donald is a zoologist and explorer with a worldwide experience of research into animals and ecosystems. Through his passion and knowledge of the environment and the living world, he aims to deliver exciting and dynamic workshops which inspire young and future scientists.
