Catalyst offers a unique interactive experience linked directly to the National Curriculum. It explores the science and technology behind the chemical industry and its impact on our lives through hands-on exhibits, activities and demonstrations. There are over 30 interactive exhibits in the science gallery, allowing you to investigate how modern materials and chemicals are made. Workshops include: Science of the senses, Fabulous fabrics and Simple Circuits.

Eureka! The National Children's Museum

Located in Halifax, Eureka! runs a number of programmes and activities throughout the academic year focusing on Active Learning and the Creative Curriculum. Programme topics include money matters and space is ace. Self-guided visits are also available, allowing you to focus on a particular theme.
